EMC Group delivered civil engineering and site servicing design for the Weston BMW Dealership, a premium automotive facility in the Toronto area. Our scope of work included site grading, storm and sanitary sewer design, watermain connections, and the layout of customer parking, vehicle display areas, and service access circulation. We coordinated with the local municipality to satisfy all engineering requirements for site plan approval of this commercial development.
Premium automotive dealerships require site engineering that supports both the operational demands of vehicle sales and service and the high-end presentation standards expected by the brand. Our team designed the stormwater management system to handle runoff from the large paved display and parking areas, integrating SWM controls discreetly within the site plan to maintain the aesthetic standards of the facility. The grading design provided smooth, well-drained surfaces for vehicle display while directing all surface water to the storm drainage system.
We prepared the complete site servicing package, including grading plans, servicing drawings, the functional servicing report, and the stormwater management plan. Our engineers coordinated with the project architect and municipal engineering staff to resolve technical comments and advance the project through the approval process.
