EMC Group provided civil engineering services for the Maple North Developers Group subdivision in the Maple community of Vaughan. Our team prepared the complete engineering design package, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, road design, and site grading for this residential development. We coordinated with the City of Vaughan, York Region, and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to navigate the approvals process and deliver a fully engineered plan of subdivision.

The Maple North area sits within one of Vaughan's designated growth centres, requiring our team to carefully coordinate servicing connections with existing and planned trunk infrastructure. We designed the underground servicing networks to integrate with the broader municipal system while accommodating the phasing requirements of the development group. The stormwater management strategy addressed both quantity and quality control, with measures designed to protect downstream watercourses and satisfy TRCA requirements.

Our engineers prepared the functional servicing report, detailed engineering drawings, and all supporting technical submissions required by the City of Vaughan and York Region. We managed the review process through multiple agency comment cycles and provided construction-phase engineering support to ensure that all infrastructure was installed to the approved design standards. The result is a well-serviced residential subdivision that contributes to the planned growth of the Maple community.
