EMC Group provided civil engineering and site plan design for the Keele Street Condominium Complex, a multi-unit residential development located along the Keele Street corridor in the Toronto and York Region area. Our engineering scope included site grading, storm and sanitary sewer design, watermain connections, and the layout of parking areas and access driveways. We also provided engineering evidence and technical support during the Ontario Municipal Board proceedings that were part of the approvals process for this project.
Urban condominium developments on established corridors like Keele Street require careful coordination with existing municipal infrastructure. Our team designed the servicing connections to tie into the existing sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain systems, ensuring adequate capacity and proper connection details. The site grading plan addressed the constrained urban site conditions, managing drainage from the building footprint and surrounding hardscape areas while maintaining positive grades to the municipal storm system.
We prepared the site servicing and grading drawings, functional servicing report, and stormwater management plan required for site plan approval.
