Our team provided civil engineering and site servicing design for the Huron Park Community Centre, located at 830 Paisley Boulevard West in Mississauga. The project scope included site grading, storm sewer design, sanitary sewer connections, watermain servicing, and the design of parking areas and internal access drives. We coordinated with the City of Mississauga to satisfy all engineering requirements for this significant public recreation facility.

At this scale, the community centre site generates substantial stormwater runoff from large roof areas, parking surfaces, and surrounding recreational grounds. Our team designed a comprehensive drainage system that collects and conveys runoff to the municipal storm sewer while incorporating quality and quantity controls consistent with City of Mississauga standards. The site grading plan ensured barrier-free access to all building entries and provided positive drainage away from the building foundations and across the outdoor recreation areas.

We prepared the full site servicing and grading drawing package, along with the functional servicing report and stormwater management plan required for site plan approval. Throughout the process, our engineers coordinated with the project architect, landscape architect, and City of Mississauga engineering staff to resolve technical comments and advance the project to construction. The Huron Park Community Centre now serves as a well-engineered community hub with reliable infrastructure and effective site drainage.
