EMC Group provided full civil engineering design services for the Forest Hill Village Subdivision in York Region. Our scope covered the complete underground servicing package, including sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain design, along with road design, site grading, and stormwater management. We worked closely with the local municipality, York Region, and the conservation authority to navigate the approvals process and deliver a fully engineered plan of subdivision.
The Forest Hill Village site required thoughtful integration with the surrounding residential fabric. Our team designed road alignments and lot grading that complement the existing neighbourhood character while meeting current engineering standards. The storm sewer system was sized to handle design storm events, and we incorporated stormwater management controls to meet quality and quantity targets established by the conservation authority. Erosion and sediment control measures were specified for all phases of construction.
Our engineers prepared the functional servicing report, detailed engineering drawings, and all technical submissions required by York Region and the local municipality. We also managed agency comments through multiple review cycles and provided engineering support during construction to verify that infrastructure installations conformed to the approved design. The Forest Hill Village Subdivision stands as a well-serviced residential community that meets the standards of York Region's growing municipalities.
