Our team delivered the full suite of civil engineering services for Cranborne Chase Estates, an estate-lot residential subdivision requiring a tailored approach to site grading, servicing, and infrastructure design. Working with larger lot frontages and deeper building envelopes, we designed sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain systems that accommodate the unique demands of custom home construction while meeting all municipal design standards.
Estate subdivisions present distinct engineering challenges compared to conventional developments. The generous lot sizes require extended service laterals, careful consideration of individual lot grading to manage overland drainage, and road cross-sections that reflect the character of the community. Our team prepared detailed grading plans for each lot, ensuring that finished grades support positive drainage and allow future homebuilders flexibility in their foundation designs.
We coordinated the approval process with the local municipality and the conservation authority, preparing all required technical submissions including the functional servicing report and stormwater management plan. Our engineers also provided construction oversight to ensure that the installed infrastructure met design specifications and that the development was delivered to the high standard expected of a premium estate community.
